The objective of this qualification is for learners to attain the knowledge and practical competencies required to deal with a casualty (adult, child or infant) who is unresponsive or experiencing an anaphylactic reaction.
Topics covered include:
- Be able to assess an emergency situation safely
- Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
- Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
- Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with anaphylaxis
- Enables learners to attain the knowledge and practical competencies required to deal with a casualty (adult, child or infant) who is unresponsive or experiencing an anaphylactic reaction
- Approves learners to deliver first aid for 3 years
